When asked to create a logo for the boat Zinger, the client requested a red zinger hibiscus. While the hibiscus matched the name and the color matched the boat, I felt we were still missing the nautical side of boating. I began to brainstorm how I could incorporate symbols of travel, water, and boating life into the logo. The result is a compass as the centre and a location point for the pistil of the flower.
